Hanover’s 2nd Annual Energy Forum
Achieving 100% Renewable Energy: Let’s Make it Happen! Wednesday, April 24, 6:00 – 8:00PM in the Hanover High School Auditorium.
Save the date to join friends and neighbors as we celebrate the 2nd anniversary of Hanover’s historic vote to transition to 100% renewable energy by 2030 for electricity and by 2050 for transportation and heating. Come to learn what’s happening. Pick up new ideas to make your energy profile leaner and greener. Poster Exhibit will showcase eco-friendly, cost saving energy projects that have been done by Hanover residents, businesses and nonprofits. Share your ideas with exhibitors and others. Talk with folks who have installed solar, installed heat pumps and weatherized their homes. Check out what’s happening in your neighborhood. Meet the Community Solar Team to see if you can help launch a community solar project in Hanover. Speakers will report on Sustainable Hanover Energy Subcommittee, Town and Dartmouth accomplishments since last year’s forum, preview 2019 -20 initiatives (including a plan for a new purchasing group for residents and small businesses to obtain their electricity from 100% renewables sources), and answer your questions. Come early for a free LED light bulb from the Liberty Utilities (while supplies last).
