One year ago yesterday, we closed our buildings to try and stop the spread of the novel coronavirus. Today, we know much more about how to keep the virus contained and minimize the impact of any positive cases. With vaccinations occurring and the warming temperatures, we are feeling optimistic about the future. Our goal is to keep schools open for in-person learning with a remote learning option through the end of the school year. Be vigilant and continue to follow protocols and guidelines. While adults are being vaccinated, our students are not, and the school population is primarily students. We need to keep them safe and healthy, even as we become vaccinated.
We all are looking forward to the days where we can gather together, travel, and be physically closer to one another. For now, let us be cautious and keep each other and our community safe. We will inform you if/when district guidance changes. In the meantime, we are still adhering to our established district protocols and attestations.
On Friday, we celebrated our 110th day of school for this year. Stay careful, be vigilant. As a reminder, the school is closed for students on Monday for teacher in-service. We will see you on Tuesday!
